Arnold Böcklin, Isle of the Dead

Arnold Böcklin, (1827-1901) Swiss Symbolist painter. This is his most famous work. He painted beautiful mythological scenes and landscapes. This was one of my favorite paintings when I was young, Something right out of Shelley.
