Joseph Zaritsky, Israeli artist, (1891-1985)

Joseph Zaritsky isĀ one of the most important Israeli artists. Born in Ukraine in 1891, his family left after a pogrom (massacre) of the Jews. He came to Jerusalem in 1923. His work is landscapes in watercolor.
