Zdzisław Beksiński

1929-2005, Polish painter, murdered senselessly in one of those pointless types of hold-ups. His genre was Utopian Realism, similar to Fantastic Realism. This image pays image to Botticelli’s Birth of Venus rising from her oyster shell. (below).
