The meaning of dreams

Last night (during a coming snowstorm here) I dreamt I was on the moon in some sort of lunar excursion module. Not sure if we were supposed to be colonists, but the crew was telling me I had to go out in -13 degree weather and I had just a sleeping bag. I was trying to convince them to let my child spend the night in the module. They say a visit on the moon shows how the invisible side of your life affects the visible. The emotional side of life is represented by the moon. I really do believe in dreams and I always have them.

About kinneret

Hello, and welcome. I'm writing this blog under an alias. Why an alias? I started to write what may be described as an "American Gothic" novel (sort of Henry James/ Franz Kafka with violence) with some autobiographical details. ..when I started this blog I just decided to use the alias. This blog is about art and art history, but my interests also include literature, film analysis, psychology, forensic psychology, faerie tale analysis, cognitive therapy, cognitive linguistics, classical theater, World War II, and Russian and British history. My favorite writers include Kafka, the Brontes, and Philip K Dick. Thank you for reading this blog and I will happily reply to any comments.

I am not good at dream interpretation, but I can’t help but think that your dedication and love as a mother in this degenerating world must explain much. I can relate only somewhat less than my wife’s concern for our children. If I had the dreams you and some others have, I would never go to sleep. And don’t listen to your crew! You know how we hear, “Florida is good this time of year?” (A real laugh this year.) Well, the moon is no good any time of year, neither side! Stay home, the weather we in the northeast are going through took place almost every year not that long ago. It is just that the people were not so unhinged as they are today.

There is no such thing as dream interpretation and have it really mean something, but it’s fun to think about. It’s your brain having a field day with bits and pieces of information. I am an avid dreamer. It’s my favorite thing to do. I’ve written down many and think, where did that come from? Maybe there is a good to write in some of the stories in our head. Of course, everyone dreams but Some can’t remember a thing. What a waste, since we spend so much time sleeping. Dreams are like an adventure for me. I often travel to other countries. Have you ever had a lucid dream. They are strange.
