About kinneret

Hello, and welcome. I'm writing this blog under an alias. Why an alias? I started to write what may be described as an "American Gothic" novel (sort of Henry James/ Franz Kafka with violence) with some autobiographical details. ..when I started this blog I just decided to use the alias. This blog is about art and art history, but my interests also include literature, film analysis, psychology, forensic psychology, faerie tale analysis, cognitive therapy, cognitive linguistics, classical theater, World War II, and Russian and British history. My favorite writers include Kafka, the Brontes, and Philip K Dick. Thank you for reading this blog and I will happily reply to any comments.

More darkness, what is she, the Angel of death with a dark star above?
Just a suggestion, watch some Marx brother movies or Steve Martin. I know, these are tough times, I have been there and am dealing with it, too, in a way. Stuff happens, but it goes away and brings you to a more experienced, mature world.

i know, my thoughts are too morbid. Not necessarily for reasons you might think. You have some idea of my political leanings, I believe. But I think the US is ripping apart. It’s not the country I grew up in. I am actually a descendant from the Mayflower Society. It is very difficult to endure the political climes and these groups. But Marx Brothers doesn’t help me. I am reading Churchill though, which although dark gives spiritual comfort.

Churchill, a great writer, adventurer, wise but made a drastic mistake early on, made up for it later. Needed for his day and needed alcohol to get through it. Trump doesn’t drink, just sayin’. We live in such a world of troubles self-inflicted by humanity that we have to look to God to fix it.
Some of my ancestors came over a few boats after yours, maybe to help them with the King Philip War, I don’t know. God gave us a beautiful world, we fight over it, and He will come to rescue the few of us left. It is all in the Old Testament as well as the New. The Jew will be blessed for staying together waiting for Messiah, the Christian for serving Messiah while waiting for his return. Meantime, we all stumble through our existence, some as best we can, some not. Daniel 12: 10.
