Stunning works posted in 2015

Nishant Dange, one of my favorite artists that I discovered this year. Beautiful portraits in charcoal.

Vania Zouravliov can’t get enough of this artist. Mesmerizing graphic artist/painter with very dark works.

Zdislaw Beksinski unquestionably the greatest artist I discovered this year. His works are extremely disturbing, suggesting the Post WWII blood guilt in Poland. I have not posted his most graphic works.

Atsuko Goto Mind blowing, ethereal Japanese artist whose work recalls Fernand Knopf.

Brian Drury An exceptional artist among many hyperrealists. I also like his fox.

Otilia Cadar from Budapest, one of my favorite portrait artists. Wow.

Stella im Hultberg, Nod to Klimt.

Maja Wronska  fantastic illustrator

About kinneret

Hello, and welcome. I'm writing this blog under an alias. Why an alias? I started to write what may be described as an "American Gothic" novel (sort of Henry James/ Franz Kafka with violence) with some autobiographical details. ..when I started this blog I just decided to use the alias. This blog is about art and art history, but my interests also include literature, film analysis, psychology, forensic psychology, faerie tale analysis, cognitive therapy, cognitive linguistics, classical theater, World War II, and Russian and British history. My favorite writers include Kafka, the Brontes, and Philip K Dick. Thank you for reading this blog and I will happily reply to any comments.
